Technical Welding Services (Rochdale) Ltd is a specialist welding and engineering company. We specialise in the manufacture and refurbishment of extruder screws and barrels for the rubber, plastics and feed industries.
TWS was established in 1983 and has combined experience of over 50 years in the manufacture & refurbishment of any size extruder screws and barrels.
Tws can manufacture most types of extruder screws, injection moulding screws, twin screws and segmented screws used in the plastics, rubber and feed/food industry's
TWS can refurbish any size of extruder, ranging from the smallest lab screw up to screws of 600m/m dia and 6 metres in length, using all types of Hard facing materials including different grades of Stellite 1,6,12 and all types of Colmonoy.
TWS has spent the last 20 years developing and testing welding procedures for refurbishing single, twin flighted, barrier flighted and twin screws for the plastics, rubber and feed industries. We can refurbish screws made from unusual alloys i.e. Hastelloy C, which is used with very corrosive materials used in electrical cables etc.
